Our Story

Laurie Rice-Salemi founded Colored Threads in 2002 from the basement of her home. Just one year later, the company moved into the Historic Stutz Building in downtown Indianapolis. Michael Salemi joined the team in 2012, bringing extensive sales and marketing experience from several Fortune 500 companies.

We have relocated a total of three times within the Stutz complex—each time into larger spaces to support our continued growth.

Our Location

Our current office hosts a spacious showroom sampling our extensive apparel collections and a separate conference room for promotional products, making it a creative hub to bring branding ideas to life. We handle our embroidery and heat pressing right here, emphasizing our priorities of high quality and client-focused production.

Together, Laurie and Michael have built Colored Threads into a leading corporate apparel and promotional products company in the ASI industry, proudly serving Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized businesses, and small family-owned operations alike.
